TREATMENTS

TEST POINT

The test point is for those who are using Kambo for the first time.

This way of working with Kambo was designed by Karen Darke in order to use it as safely as possible in the West. Although it is unlikely there will be any adverse reactions due to the post circle consultation, this is simply an extra precaution.

The test point is very simple and effective it indicates whether you are suitable to recieve. If all is well we will go ahead with your treatment as planned.

A treatment on your initial session means you will be given between three and seven dots in total. The final number is decided by the practitioner who uses their knowledge and intuition to formulate how many you will need.

If there is an adverse reaction during the test point it will be removed immediately and the effects will quickly subside. This means Kambo would not be administered that day.

The first treatment is given in traditional locations on the body, for the men this is the upper left arm and for the women it is the lower right leg. If you choose to work with the it again treatments are designed to coincide with your intention and they can be placed anywhere on the body.

Ancient knowledge of our chakra, meridian and auricular energetic systems can be used to deepen the healing.

Chakra treatment

Chakras are energy centres like wheels that allow energy to move through our body. If they become unbalanced they can cause dis-ease both in the mind and body.

Each chakra has specific emotional, energetic and physical meanings. There are seven main chakras and we can work with six of them by placing Kambo on the related areas on the spine.

Root Chakra - Muladhara -  located at the base of spine. It is red in colour and represents our foundation and feelings of being grounded. Emotionally, it is linked to any issues with survival, money, food, addictions and independence. Kambo points are placed at the lowest point of the spine.

Sacral chakra - Svadisthana - located in the lower abdomen, two inches below the navel. Orange in colour, it relates to our connection with others and our ability to experience relationships. This is our sense of abundance, well-being, pleasure and sexuality. Kambo points are placed on the back at the sacral chakra location.

Solar Plexus Chakra - Manipura - located in the upper abdomen around two inches above the navel. It is our sunlight centre and is yellow in colour. It relates to our confidence and the ability to navigate our own lives, linked to issues surrounding self-worth, will power and self-esteem. Kambo points are placed on the back at the solar plexus chakra location.

Heart Chakra - Anahata -  located in the centre of our chest just above the heart. Green in colour it represents our ability to give and receive love. It is linked to any issues around love, joy and inner peace. Kambo points are placed on the back at the heart chakra location.

Throat Chakra - visuddha - located at the throat. Blue in colour it represents our ability to communicate and create, it is linked to self-expression of feelings, integrity and truth. Kambo points are placed in between the shoulder blades.

Third Eye Chakra - Anja - located on the forehead between the eyes. Indigo in colour it relates to our ability to focus and is linked to our intuition, imagination, wisdom and the ability to think and make decisions. Kambo points are placed on the back of the neck.

Crown Chakra - Sahasrara - This is above the head and is violet in colour because it is the highest chakra and represents our connection to source. We do not work with this chakra with Kambo.

Meridian system treatment

Energy meridians are the internal energy pathways which run through the physical body and which energetically connect the body’s organs and their subsystems. They are said to allow a flow of chi, life energy, to each organ. It is believed that a flow of life force can help physical and mental conditions.

These energy meridians and points on the meridians are used in healing techniques such as acupuncture and acupressure but can also be used alongside Kambo.

The main meridian channels are:

  • Lung meridian
  • Large Intestine
  • Spleen meridian
  • Stomach meridian
  • Heart meridian
  • Small intestine meridian
  • Bladder meridian
  • Kidney meridian
  • Pericardium (Circulation/Sex) meridian
  • Triple Warmer meridian
  • Liver meridian
  • Gallbladder meridian

auricular Kambo

Paul Nogier published his results of Auriculotherapy in 1957. This explored the healing possibilities of using the ear in a similar way to reflexology. It is said that within the ear there is a microsystem which allows us to work on areas that would normally be difficult to locate.

Usually treatments are carried out through acupuncture however we can use Auricular therapy with Kambo by placing the points for the treatment on the point we wish to use on the ear. We can work on physical conditions such as gallbladder, shoulders, hip joint, heart, eyes as well as non tangible conditions such as memory, fear, anxiety, aggression and addiction.
